In the first 60 days after the earthquake of April 6, more than 50,000 inspections were carried out to verify the safety conditions of the buildings and establish their seismic viability. In total, by March 2010, 80,000 inspections had been carried out, some of which were for second checks, on a total of 73,521 buildings. The entire assessment was carried out with the cooperation of more than 5,000 volunteer technicians from all over the country.
